Champaign, OH: A Christmas Wake Up Call!
That’s right…it’s Tuesday, and it’s the week before the Christmas weekend, and that means you need to get your orders in before 8am, this morning!
The market will then tuck in for it’s holiday nap, for a few weeks, and you want to make sure you are stocked up with goodness!!
Also, FYI, while the market is in sleep mode, you can still visit the shop, at the market site, Oakview Farm Meats, to stock up on most of your favorite market vendors’ products!! The shop will be open for the holiday weeks, so you can stop and still feel good about getting market goodness!
Ok…I’m off to finish my own orders…are you with me?
XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Have you ever wondered if free run pastured chicken eggs are really better nutritionally? (we can all agree they taste better but what about omega6/omega3 ratio etc. Read here on Dr Malone’s substack for his investigation.
“…the truth is that small farms and “backyard” (at least from those hens that have access to pasture and better food) chicken eggs are healthier. Recent peer review papers support this.”

Andra from Sow’s Ear Piggery writes:
Sow’s Ear Piggery just picked up a new pork order from the butcher. This pork was finished on acorns, and the samples we’ve tried have a rich flavor and light marbling in the cuts. Restocking this week: ground pork, breakfast sausage, and chops. More to come soon, including pork roasts for Christmas and New Years.
(L to R) Breakfast sausage, Bratwurst, and Kielbasa.
Sharmyn from CS3 Farms writes:
We want to thank everyone for your support through this year. We continue to learn new things about living up in a ridge and how to grow the things we can. We added a Relaxing Herbal Tea blend in a nice tin that is perfect for a last minute gift for yourself or someone you love who needs to slow down and enjoy the moment.
May the peace and Joy of Christmas guide you into a beautiful time with those you love and sweet memories of those you miss.
